The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has reacted to a report which listed two of Nigerian Airports as part of the worst 20 airports in the world.
The report which came after a survey was carried out by the Sleep in Airport website (sleepinairports.net) ranked the Lagos airport, Nigeria, the fifth worst airport in the world while the Port Harcourt airport ranked the third worst airport on a global scale.
Reacting to the report, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, in charge of the listed airports promised to improve service delivery in the listed establishments.
The Director of Consumer Protection of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Adamu Abdullahi, also stated that the Port Harcourt airport had at least improved by two steps as it was rated the worst airport in the world last year.
He cited paucity of funds to the current ranking of the Nigerian airports.
