Women of of Ninte were seen protesting over Federal Government’s continued absence in affected areas and silence on the matter of Fulani herdsmen terrorism generally. The women who were barely dressed were wailing and crying in large numbers calling on president Muhammadu Buhari to stop the Fulani herdsmen menace.
One of the women, Deborah Reuben, was quoted saying:
“The situation is unhealthy as it is no longer safe. The government we voted into power has left us at the mercy of armed herdsmen, farms cannot be cultivated in the face of high level of impunity.”
