US President Allegedly Bars Diego Maradona’s Entry Into US

The United States President, Donald Trump, has in a latest development reportedly banned the entry of a former Brazilian footballer, Diego Maradona into the United States.

The ban, according to reports is based on an earlier comment made by the former footballer who called Trump “Chirolita”.

The football star’s agent claimed that he was denied entry into the US following the disparaging comments he made about the U.S President.

Reports also indicate that Maradona’s application for US Visa was also turned down on grounds of the comments he made in an interview granted in his home country.

Maradona had during the interview described the president of the United States as a ‘Chirolita’, a word which in Argentina means something of low value.

Maradona’s lawyer, Matia Morla explained further: “When were about to get the visa, I said to him: ‘Diego, please, don’t speak about the USA.’

And, during a TV interview, in the second question, they asked him: ‘What do you think of Donald Trump?’

He replied: “He is a Chirolita.”
