Update on President Buhari’s son, Yusuf’s health surfaces

A recent report contained in a statement issues by the president of the Guild of Medical Doctors, Prof. Femi Dokun-Babalola, has given update on the status of the Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari’s son, Yusuf, who was involved in a ghastly power bike accident which left him with severe injuries to the head and a broken limb.

The report holds that the President’s son who was reported to have been unconscious has now been stabilized.

Prof. Femi Dokun-Babalola, in a short statement issued to Sun revealed that Yusuf Buhari is now in a stable medical condition and is responding well to treatment.

The statement issued by the Guild of Medical Directors, an umbrella body of private medical practitioners in the country reads;

“We are saddened to hear about the unfortunate accident involving the son of our dear president on a power bike.

“While we cannot comment on the exact circumstances of the accident, we are happy that the situation is being efficiently handled by Cedarcrest Hospital in Abuja, one of the top Guild of Medical Directors owned hospitals in Nigeria.

“It is heartening to note that his condition is now stable after undergoing brain surgery and we hope for a complete recovery from this unfortunate incident.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with President Muhammadu Buhari and his family at this time”.
