Two pals were killed after the driver lost control of his Porsche Cayenne before it smashed into a lamppost and rolled over five times.
Witnesses said the high-performance car was doing around 100mph when the horror crash on the Small Heath Highway near Birmingham city centre.
Atal Nawaz, aged 24, a factory worker and driver Mushtaq Hussain, 21, a self-employed car retailer both died in the crash at around 11.30pm on August 28.
The Birmingham Mail reports two others who were in the car survived the smash and relived the horror at the inquest at Birmingham Coroner’s Court.
Mohammed Khaled, who was the front seat passenger, said that night he went to Mr Hussain’s house and they went for a spin in the 2003-registration Porsche Cayenne which Mr Hussain had recently bought.
