Stampede ensues, 40 people injured after someone shouted "ISIS" inside huge crowd

This year’s edition of Republic Of Kosovo’s annual Beer Fest event ended in tragedy as a stampede ensued when someone pranked the crowd by shouting the name of a notorious terrorist group “ISIS” and gunshots were heard. Over 40 people were injured during the event which took place last weekend in the country’s capital Pristina.

According to one eyewitness:

“We noticed that something was not right. People began to push and to throw over each other. I was in the middle of it, people came pushing at us and knocked us over. People were crying, shouting they have to flee.”

Another source added:

“The only thing that was putting fear in the people was someone who shouted: ‘Run, ISIS is here.’ That alone, as well as the gunshot, was enough for people to panic.”

Authorities say that the gunshots were from a toy gun but it wasn’t clear if the troublemaker was arrested.
