South Africa’s Minister of Water and Sanitation, Nomvula Mokonyane, on Tuesday 1 November 2016, told citizens to deal with widespread water shortages by taking their bath only once in 7 days.
According to Mokonyane:
“South Africa is facing a very difficult time at the moment, we are not getting enough rain and dams are running dry.
“We urge all South Africans to save water. We request all South Africans to bath only once a week until our dams have enough water.”
