Serena Williams Set To Return To Tennis In February

American Tennis great, Serena Williams has hinted on her return to professional career months after she put it all on hold due to her pregnancy.

The American star who is expected to make a professional entry into Tennis this February will be playing for the United States for their Fed Cup first round tie against the Netherlands.

The latest development was disclosed by the United States Tennis Association, USTA, on Tuesday.

Serena Williams had put her career on hold since winning the Australian Open title last year, a feat which she was recorded to have performed while weeks into her pregnancy.

She Tennis great has since then skipped a WTA tournament and this year’s opening Grand Slam, a decision which was based on her health, considering the complications she suffered during the birth of her daughter to Reddit’s co-founder, Alexis Ohanian.

Serena Williams, 36, will be announced alongside her sister, Venus Williams and world number nine, CoCo Vandeweghe, and a fourth player next week.
