The children of the Late Sir Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu, the millionaire father of the late Ikemba Nnewi, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and Ikemba Nnewi’s children have been reported to have engaged in a fist cuff over the sharing of their father’s properties.

The family was reported to have engaged in the quarrel over property sharing in an Awka High Court yesterday.

The two children of the late Ojukwu, Mr. Ikemefuna Ojukwu and his brother, Mr. Chukwuma Ojukwu were reported to jhave filed the suit in 2014 against their uncles, Dr. Joseph Ojukwu, Dr. Ike Ojukwu and Mr. Lotanna Ojukwu along with their mother, Ambassador. Bianca Ojukwu

The suit filed demanded tha the court declare that they be entitled to 25 per cent of the property in their father’s compound at No. 73, Owerri road, Nnewi.

The suit further demanded entitlement to 25 per cent shares of their father’s company, Ojukwu Transport Company.

The plaintiff further demanded the court to order the defendants to account to them the management of late Sir Louis Ojukwu’s property over the years.

The matter, when called upon on Monday witnessed a mix up as pointed out by Mr. Chuka Osianatogu, counsel to the plaintiffs.

The court further observed that the earlier order served to Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu was not properly served, just as the fourth defendant, the Probate Registrar of Awka High Court, was not served at all.

Presiding over the case, Justice Dennis Mmaduechesi ruled that the case be adjourned to May 7, 2018 for pre-trial.
