The world’s longest glass-bottomed suspension bridge has officially been opened for vacationers and tourists in China.
The edifice is located in the Hebei Province’s Hongyagu Scenic Area.
The bridge according to information spans a total of 488 meters (1,600 feet) and the test of courage and bravery sits over a vertical drop of 218 meters (715 feet).
Tourists have already started booking their spots on the bridge as the first set of tourists were sighted walking over the suspension with a view of the earth underneath.
The chairman of Hebei’s Bailu Group, company responsible for the tourist attraction centre said: “Hongyagu glass suspension bridge marks the 2.0 era for China’s glass-bottomed bridge.”
