The United Nations has warned that a lot more could be recorded as the monster storm heads towards neighbouring United States where 4 have already died in Florida as of Saturday morning.
President Barack Obama said during a Friday White House press conference – before the flood hit the United States:
“The potential for storm surge, loss of life and severe property damage exists.”
In Haiti, the town of Jeremie was among the worst hit while Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina are expected to be affected in the USA.
Hurricane Matthew is the first major storm in the globe after Hurricane Sandy killed 106 Americans in 2012.
