Okorocha reportedly erects statue to honor Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

The Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has yesterday been reported to be planning yet another unveiling of a statue to welcome another African president into his state.

The report comes after the state governor, yesterday, announced that the Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, would be visiting Imo State on a 2-day working visit.

The photograph which leaked online showed off the statue of the Liberian President coming after the state Governor some weeks ago unveiled a statue of the South African President, Jacob Zuma, following his visit to the state.

The latest report comes hot on the heels of another report which indicate that the state government is earmarking the sum of N850 million for Christmas decorations in the state.
