Man allegedly kills tailor over 500 naira debt in Lagos

Lukmon Shotunde, a 22-year-old tailor slumped and died on Sunday 31 July 2016, hours after one Taofeek Sodiq told him that “You will not live to open your shop tomorrow, if my money is not returned.”

Residents of Orobiyi Street, Alagbado, Lagos State where Lukemon died descended on the alleged killer Taofeek raining brutality on him until officers of the Lagos Police Command arrived to take him away.

According to a source who spoke to Punch Newspapers:

“He (Lukmon) was walking back to his shop when he suddenly collapsed. We rushed him to a private hospital where he was confirmed dead.”

The alleged debt is said to be 500 naira.
