A 19-year-old suspect is in police custody after he was tasered with an electric stun gun and arrested. The young man killed one woman and left 5 others with life-threatening injuries when he embarked on a stabbing spree towards pedestrians at Russell Square around 10.30pm on Wednesday.

According to an eyewitness:

“The police came to the hotel and a guest was telling them what he saw. He said there was a madman running around with a knife just lunging at people randomly and stabbing them. He was just going for anyone he could see.”

Authorities say they are trying to establish a connection on the attack with ISIS after the terrorist group promised to attack London last week.
