Katsina Corps Members Get 200% Increase In Welfare Package

The Katsina State Government has increased the welfare budget for National Youths Service Corps, NYSC, members deployed to the state by about 200 per cent.

The latest development was communicated by the chairman of NYSC Katsina State Governing Board, Alhaji Aminu Ibrahim, who made this known on Thursday at the formal opening ceremony of the 2017 Batch ‘B’ Stream orientation course in Katsina.

Speaking on the latest development while declaring the orientation course open, the state governor noted that his administration has placed the welfare of corps members in the state as a top priority.

The state governor, Masari, in his address added that his administration is set to ensure that proper and adequate provisions were made for the welfare of corps members.
