Nigerian Reggae-dancehall artiste, Burna Boy, has revealed that he was behind a total of 5 songs on Canadian-American rapper, Drake’s ‘More Life’ Album
Burna Boy, one of the most recognized rapper and song writers in Nigeria revealed he was responsible for 5 songs off the Superstar rapper’s project during the listening party for his forthcoming album titled “Outside.”
The listening party which held on Sunday January 21st, 2018 at the We´re´ House in Lagos also witnessed the rapper opening up on how he met the Canadian-American rapper in London.
Burna said: “I worked on 5 new songs for the project, and submitted them all.”
Burna Boy however revealed that he got confirmation from Drake and his team that his submissions will be used on the ‘More Life’ project, a name which was one of the titles of the songs he submitted.
However, Burna Boy expressed shock at the fact that he did not get the deserved credit for his submissions.
He added: “They told me they had picked it, but when the song came out it was…chopped.”
Burna Boy however revealed that he has since moved on from the episode addibng that the original version of the ‘More Life’ song he wrote would be on his forthcoming album “Outside,” which will be released on January 26th, 2018.
