Amina Ali Nkeki is one of the missing 273 schoolgirls who were abducted by Boko Haram in 2014 from Girls Secondary School, Chibok Borno State. Amina and her husband facilitated their escape from the dens of Sambisa Forest due to starvation and lack of amenities – or as we were told – back in May but now wants to rejoin her Boko Haram husband whom she said she misses a lot.
When CNN asked Amina about her husband on Tuesday, the 21-year-old mother of a few months old baby girl replied:
“I’m not comfortable with the way I’m being kept from him.
Then she addressed her husband who is being kept in military confinement:
“I want you to know that I’m still thinking about you, and just because we are separated doesn’t mean I have forgotten about you.”
