No less than five persons have reportedly been killed in a fresh killing in Benue State.
According to reports, the Fulani herdsmen who were accused of the previous killings in the state which claimed the lives of no less than 100 persons have struck again.
The latest report indicates that the killins which was earlier confined to two local government areas in the state has spread to Okpokwu Local Government Area of the state where one person was killed.
The state Governor, Samuel Ortom, had earlier on confirmed the killings in Guma and Logo Local Government Areas where two persons where killed in each Local Government.
Ortom, while recieving the leaders of the South and Middle belt forum who visited to pay him a condolence visit at Government house in Makurdi confirmed the fresh attack.
The state governor however called on security agents to arrest the leadership of Miyetti Allah, Kautal Hore, who has promised more attacks on the state and indegenes while demanding the ban of the implementation of the Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Law in the state.
