Outspoken governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has divulged into reasons why he was present at the bail ruling of detained Biafra leader, Nnamdi Kanu, at a Federal High Court in Abuja yesterday.
Fayose who stormed the court alongside his business and political contemporaries had a brief conversation with Kanu who attained cult following since his arrest and subsequent detainment by Nigerian forces in 2015.
Fayose was captured in a warm embrace with Kanu at the end of the discussion.
Speaking to journalists, Fayose narrated:
“This nation belongs to all of us, I have come to identify with the Igbo people.
“My position remains that Kanu will one day walk into freedom in this our great country.”
