Falconets defeat South Africa 6-0 to qualify for World Cup

The Nigerian U-20 women’s team has defeated South Africa in a match which ended 6-0 in favour of the Nigerian side.

The Nigerian side will however step on the victory into the 2018 Women’s World Cup coming up in France.

The Falconets on Saturday defeated the South African side in the match which took place in Benin.

The latest defeat comes after the Nigerian side had earlier defeated the South African side in the first leg of the competition therefore moving to the World cup with eight-goals on aggregate.

For the goals, Monday Gift earned herself a brace in the 5th and 39th minute while Ajibade Rasheedat also earned herself two goals in the 21st and 32nd minute in addition to Imo Anam’s brace which came in the 26th and 73rd minute of the match.
