Kaduna State governor Nasir El rufai has come under fire for his purported inaction following the killing of over 800 people by Fulani herdsmen in Southern Kaduna between the end of 2016 and early this year.
The governor was speaking at the Capacity Development Session for Progressive Governors Forum Media Aides on Sunday.
According to him,
“Southern Kaduna is far from here but close to our hearts.
“Every technology has its challenges, the introduction of newspapers brought about the same apprehension and challenges social media is giving us today.
“I can assure you that soon, people in Kaduna would be charged to court for what they post especially on hate speech.
“From my town hall meetings I discovered that road is the most singular important need of our people.”
