The Ebonyi state governor, David Umahi, has sacked the Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources in the state, Chief Moses Nome.
The sack was announced on Thursday while the state governor briefed members of the State Executive Council and top government functionaries.
The briefing made by the state governor held during a visit by a United Nations International Development Organisation (UNIDO).
The state governor during the announcement however failed to give reasons for his action.
David Umahi however noted that the decision was reached in order to move the state forward.
He added: “He is still one of us and my friend, so you should not worry about him.”
