Barcelona FC star, Lionel Messi, has once again taken an all our frontal attack on his rival, Real Madrid FC’s Cristiano Ronaldo statinf that his career is finished at the Spanish club.
Ronaldo, 32, who has endured a goal drought since the start of the season as he has scored just one goal so far for his club was described as a finished entity by his rival, coming after he won the FIFA’s Player of the Year award last month.
However, a Spanish website, Don Balon, has claimed that the Barcelona star, Messi, believes Ronaldo will never be able to regain the form which allowed him compete with him.
The recent take by the Barcelona FC star player comes as Barcelona FC is eight points clear of its rival, Real Madrid FC.
Lionel Messi, 30, has however been backed by the club captain, Andres Iniesta to break more Barcelona FC records as the star player made his 600th appearance for the club against Sevilla over the weekend.
Iniesta said: “Messi’s 600th appearance? It’s a lot of games and it’s very difficult to reach a figure like that.”
He added: “But the 600 games are certainly far below what he’ll end up achieving and hopefully [more appearances] can be accompanied by more trophies.”
