CPP will win 2016 Ghana elections - Nana Nketia

Nana Nketia, the vice presidential nominee of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), has suggested that the party’s presidential flagbearer, National Democratic Congress, will defeat incumbent president John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the 2016 general elections in Ghana.

Nketia who was speaking today during a radio program on Abusua FM said:

“Let me remind you that President Hilla Limann used two and half months to win the elections, if Ivor and I join forces together by working hard, we will pull a surprise by winning the elections, there wouldn’t be any second run, because CPP will win the elections, even if there is a run-off, party executives will take the decision as to which party to support.

“It boils down to personality, I couldn’t refuse Ivor’s offer when he called me, I believe he can do it if voted into power to lead the nation, besides Kofi Annan has being advising us (Ghanaians) to practice politics of inclusion, and do away with our party colours, I am ready to help my country whenever I am approached.”
