According to The Cable, one of the parents of the abducted Chibok girls fainted on Thursday as members of the Bringbackourgirls (BBOG) movement were beginning their march to the presidential villa to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The group and joined 136 parents of the abducted girls set out from the Unity Fountain in Abuja at 8:35am. As they marched, the parents let out words of anguish for their daughters who have been in Boko Haram captivity for 640 days. They are at present at the villa gate seated on the tarred road waiting for buses to convey them to the villa precincts. Oby Ezekwesili, former minister of education, led the march.
