The son of the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, Yusuf, has reportedly been flown out of Nigeria after he was involved in a power bike accident on the night of Tuesday in Abuja.
The President’s son, Yusuf, was reported to have sustained several injuries including a broken limb and injuries to the head which rendered him unconscious.
As previously reported, Yusuf, has been flown to Germany for specialist care.
The family is said to have decided on Germany.
Yusuf was reported to have been driven unconscious to the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport, Abuja, in an ambulance with oxygen support, according to sources close to the case.
The president’s only surviving son was then flown out in an air ambulance which was secured by the family.
Yusuf was escorted on his trip to Germany by a Nigerian doctor and three paramedics and an orthopaedic consultant with specialization in head injuries.
