Buhari Is Yet To Query IGP For Disobeying A Direct Order - Police PRO, Jimoh Moshood

The spokesperson of the Nigerian Police, Jimoh Moshood has claimed that the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari is yet to query his superior, the Inspector General of Police for disobeying a direct order handed by the President to relocate to Benue state.

Recall that the Nigerian President had some days ago revealed that he was not aware that the IGP had disobeyed his order and instead taken shelter in Nasarawa state following the attack on Benue state by Fulani herdsmen.

The Police Force spokesperson while reacting to reports that the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, had been queried stated that those circulating the report are detractors aiming to cause discord between the president and his principal.

He added while calling on those with a copy of the query to come forward with it: “The IGP was not queried. There is very clear issue on that, that he was not queried by the President. Anybody that said the IGP was queried by the president should bring the copy of the query, let us display it.”
