The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it is ready to take over the mantle of leadership from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State after the gubernatorial elections in the Southeast state later this year.
Vice chairman of APC, South-East, Emma Eneukwu, made the remarks during the party’s inauguration of zonal disciplinary and fundraising/finance committees in Enugu.
“We have a little challenge in the South-East; this present (federal) government has challenged us to prove that we are part of this country.
“We have been pushed to the edge where we will prove that an Igbo man is a very special person in this country.
“The challenge is to ensure that we deliver the entire South-East to the APC, starting from the governorship election in Anambra State.”
