A former member on the floor of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, has disagreed with the letter sent to the Nigerian president by a former president Olusegun Obasanjo claiming that Buhari instead deserves a second term in office.
Recall that Obasanjo had in the 18 page letter advised Buhari to dump his re-election agenda and instead focus on the corruption within his ranks.
On the contrary, the former Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon while speaking as a guest on a Channels Television show on Friday, encouraged Buhari to instead run for a second term in office.

He said: “It is certainly not Eureka yet. But, the truth of the matter is that, given where we are coming from, this government has tried. We were in the cause of economic comatose and from the quagmire of recession, the government of President Muhammadu Buhari has been able to remove the economy from the jugulars of recession and has breathed vital life into Nigeria’s economy.”
The politician firther added that the nation’s president, Buhari and the APC government has discharged their constitutional mandate ‘in such a way and manner that they deserve a second term outing.”
