Britian's 3rd richest man is dead, left £9bn fortune for 25-year-old son

Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster and the third richest person in the United Kingdom is dead. He suffered a heart attack at his Abbeystead House mansion in Lancashire before dying days later at Royal Preston Hospital.

Grosvenor is survived by his son Hugh Grosvenor who is set to become the new Duke of Westminster, acquiring all of his father’s fortune which is valued at over £9bn.

The 25-year-old, a Newcastle University graduate, came to the limelight after he reportedly threw a lavish 21st birthday party that cost a whopping $5m in 2012. Questions are being asked if the youth would be able to manage his dad’s wealth properly after his demise.
