An aggrieved and “distraught father”, Randall Margraves, whose three daughters were reported to be victims of the sexual abuse perpetrated by Larry Nassar, the former doctor in an Eaton County was reported to have launched an attack on the offender in the Michigan court.
Randall Margraves during the court proceedeing launched an attack on the defendant before he was tackled and arrested by security operatives.
Before Larry Nassar was attacked, he had been described as a ‘demon’ by Randall who cursed him out before Judge Janice Cunningham.
However, the Judge cautioned him and told him such words were not allowed in the court for which he demanded a personal time alone with the “demon.”
He had said before launching the attack: “I would ask you, as part of the sentencing, to grant me five minutes in a locked room with this demon.
“Would you give me one minute?”
The judge however declined his request saying, “That’s not how our legal system works.”
Randall then responded; “Well, I’m going to have to,” after which he hauled himself into a sprint toward Nassar.
Security rushed to stop him and grabbed him from behind before he was able to reach Nassar.
The Assistant Attorney General, Angela Povilaitis, after the angry father was led out addressed the court saying physical violence wasn’t the way to go.
She added: “I don’t want to see another parent get arrested or put handcuffs on, or a victim.”
