Vice president and acting president of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, has asked Nigerians to exercise patience towards the condition of things around the country noting that the government is aware of these conditions. He also blamed the past regime of former president Goodluck Jonathan for Nigeria’s current woes during his speech.
Osinbajo, who was represented by the SSA to the president on Political Matters, Babafemi Ojudu, at an award ceremony organized by the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN) in Abuja on Thursday 16th June 2016, said:
“Yes! Things are very hard in the country. Our government meant very well for Nigerians, this is not to punish people. It is because things have gone bad in the past.”
