Photos: Governor Ugwuanyi Weeps During Inspection Of Damages By Fulani Herdsmen Terrorirsts

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State was tearful as he visited the affected areas at Ukpabi, Nimbo, in Uzo-Uwani LGA of Enugu State today where terrorist Fulani herdsmen massacred dozens of people in their sleep while burning some buildings including a Catholic church before escaping towards Nassarawa State on Monday.

Igwe John Ako, traditional ruler of Nimbo, has this to say:

“We had a black Monday yesterday; no week passes by without our women being raped and our men killed by the herdsmen.

“We appeal for military and police presence; our people don’t go to farm again; they come to the farm, point gun at the farmer, ask him to go away, and the cattle will feed on the farm; we don’t go to farm again.”
