Nollywood backs Swiss government against emmigration

The Swiss government has turned to Nigerian filmhouse, Nollywood for support against relocation to Switzerland.

They are currently funding a short film, a 13-episode series, aimed at discouraging emmigration, and are footing the $450,000 bill.

The series is called Missing Steps, coming on the heels of an anti-migration agreement reached by the two countries in 2011.

However, the Swiss council has not fully agreed with the move, but instead says it is best to treat the cause of illegal migration, usually economic issues and human rights abuses.
