Monzavous Rae Edwards is an American-Nigerian athlete who wants to represent his father’s land at the Olympics. The sprinter had readied everything up to attend the games at Rio, Brazil – including getting a tattoo of the Olympic logo on his arm and describing himself as an “Olympian” on his social profiles – but got the shock of his life when he discovered that his name was not submitted to 2016 Olympic officials by Nigeria Ministry Of Sports’ Olympic Committee.
