Kidnappers Demand N200m Ransom For Senator Iyabo Anisulowo's ReleaseGunmen who kidnapped senator Iyabo Anisulowo have demanded a 200 million naira ransom for her release according to her family.

Iyabo was taken away alongside her security aide along Igbogila road in
Yewa North LGA of Ogun state. She celebrated her 70th birthday only few
weeks back. She was a former minister of state for Education and member representing Ogun
West Senatorial District at the National Assembly between 2003 and 2007.

Police has noted that senator Iyabo’s vehicle has been recovered from the kidnap scene.

Spokesman of Ogun State Police Command Muyiwa Adejobi told newsmen:

“The command wishes to inform the general public that the police have
some clues as the Toyota SUV of the victim, with Reg No Lagos LSD 115
AM, and some items have been recovered, and this will definitely
catalyse the forensic investigation into the matter and immediate rescue
of the victim.”
