An Australian man who was accused of having a hand in his lover’s death has been cleared of murder charges at Brisbane Supreme Court today.
Gable (30) and his 26-year-old lover Warriena Wright were hanging out on their first date after hooking up from dating app Tinder when the woman fell to her death from the 14th floor of Mr Totsee’s flat in August 2014. It was reported they had a disagreement shortly before the incident.
Speechless, Gable looked up into the skies after he was found not guilty of murder and manslaughter and released but his lawyer, Nick Dore, spoke:
“He thanks all the people who have supported him through this and realises just how tragic this has been for many people.
“At this stage, he is looking forward to putting it behind him and considering his future from here.”
