The Blues defeated West Brom on the road Friday to seal their 2017 Premier League victory after a poor run of form made sure they couldn’t defend their 2015 title during the 2016 season.
Chelsea midfielder Kante was rested against West Brom after bagging the PFA Player of the Year and English Premier League Player of the Season.
Chelsea’s lone goal against West Brom came from substitute Michy Batshuayi, an unexpected hero for the Stamford Bridge side who won 28 matches this season and lost only 5.
Chelsea can still get to 93 points if they win the two matches remaining on their schedule for rest of the season before facing Arsenal for the FA Cup final at Wembley.
