Pro-Biafran group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Ivory Coast, visited several orphanages in the French-speaking country where they delivered food items and relief materials on Sunday 11 December 2016.
According to IPOB spokesman Mazi Emeka Gift,
“We went there to show compassion to the orphans. As a peaceful people, it is our duty to help those in need, our visitation today is one of the laid down rules by the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
“They were very happy, they promised to always pray for Biafra, and they pleaded that Biafrans in Ivory Coast should partner with.
“The officials of the Orphanage homes were very much happy and promised to support the activities of IPOB in Ivory Coast.”
