Arrested Aide Of Senate President Saraki Refuses To Take Food In DSS Custody

Senate president Bukola Saraki’s special assistant on Youth and Students Matters, Ikenga Ugochinyere, has been on dry fasting since he was arrested and detained by the Department Of State Security (DSS) on Monday. This was made known by his family sources who want the lawyer to be released with immediate effect.

On why Ugochinyere was arrested, a source told NGLatest:

“Unofficial information reaching his family confirmed that Barrister
Ikenga was interrogated on two issues-a petition authored by the
Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Barr. Solomon Dalung, who was
indefinitely suspended from the Board of the National Youth Council of
Nigeria, a body over which Ikenga is President.”
