Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton has pushed in more votes than Republicans’ Donald Trump as more votes continue to pour in. As it stands, Hillary has 59,385,603 votes while Trump can only boast of 59,213,188 votes.
However, in the US presidential elections, electoral college votes are important to emerge winner and that’s exactly what Trump has done – he secured 276 so far while Clinton was able to get 218.
Electoral college votes are determined by the states you win. Ie, Arkansas has 3 college votes while Ohio State will give you as much as 18 when you win the state in terms of highest number of voters.
